Setting International Standards on the Technical Committee on Ageing Societies

Research and Development Lead for Global Community Resourcing, Anne Livingstone has been appointed as an Australian representative on the International Standards Organisation (ISO) Technical Committee on Ageing Societies TC 314.


The group consists of 20 participating countries and 16 observing countries and has been operating since December of 2017.


The Technical Committee on Ageing Societies was established to identify ways in which standards can provide guidelines for the development and delivery of new products, services and solutions within the aged and community care sectors in order to meet the needs of ageing societies.


Over the past year and a half, Anne represented Australia and travelled with Committee members to several countries for including London, Germany and China.

Anne is also a member of the following ISO committees:


· ISO/TC 268 Sustainable cities and communities

· ISO/TC 314/TG 02 Communications

· ISO/TC 314/WG 01 Ageing Workforce

· ISO/TC 314/WG 02 Dementia Inclusive
