Global Community Resourcing (GCR) has continued to be a pillar of innovation for the aged care and community care sector.
As such, Global Community Resourcing has won the 2016 Information Technology in Aged Care (ITAC) Award ‘as best initiative as voted for by consumers’.
The ITAC Awards are a prestigious event held yearly which encompass the aged care, technology, community care and supporting services. The conference holds a variety of leading speakers and presenters over the course of two days.
This isn’t the first time GCR has won an award at ITAC, with winning the Innovative Entrepreneurial Award for 2015,for the CCSATC and the work done on this collaborative space.
The Community Care Smart Assistive Technology Collaborative is an an international and national online collaborative space supported by Global Community Resourcing, creates a space in which aged care and community care workers and startups, as well as carers can use as a resource.
Utilising simple technologies to improve nutrition status and management of nutrition in aged and community care, as well as empowering care technology through user engagement were topics focused on for the presentation, and how CCSATC has been able to assist in these research developments was presented by our very own Anne Livingstone, Director of Global Community Resourcing.
The CCSATC remains a great opportunity to connect with innovators in the aged care and community sector, and Global Community Resourcing is always looking forward to attending the next ITAC conference to display our hard work throughout the year.
